Why wait until Christmas when you can enjoy the most wonderful time of the year at Bundesbüdchen starting in November? The holiday menu combines the best of the season with international traditions for €65.

(Some) Berlin restaurants with Christmas specials

Fresh sourdough bread with whipped butter serves as an amuse-bouche to kick off the festive dinner. A delicately seasoned chestnut soup with goose giblets as a starter and crispy stubble goose with potato dumplings and red cabbage as a main course bring Austrian and northern Italian flair to Berlin. The evening ends on a British-French note with sticky toffee pudding with candied kumquats and crème chantilly. A vegetarian alternative (for €59) with mushroom essence and cheese dumplings can be prepared on request when booking. Curated wines accompany the menu for €39. The restaurant is closed on December 24 and 25. On December 26, it is open from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

NYX-Mas at Clash KITCHENS & BAR (Köpenick)

At Clash KITCHENS & BAR, chef Andreas Hentze and his team are celebrating the big NYX-MAS Special. On December 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests can look forward to a festive all-you-can-eat dinner buffet “Berlin style.” The selection includes beef carpaccio, truffled potato soup, braised duck leg, Zurich-style sliced beef, and salmon on creamed pointed cabbage (price: 45 euros per person, including a welcome glass of Prosecco, excluding drinks). On December 25, the culinary delights continue from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the grand NYX-MAS brunch featuring breakfast classics, seasonal appetizers, and hot dishes such as goose leg, beef roulade, and pasta with porcini mushrooms. This will be accompanied by Christmas desserts such as chocolate mousse and gingerbread crème brûlée, including a welcome glass of Prosecco and a 3-hour beverage package with specialty coffees, juices, beer, and house wines (price per person: €65). Le Faubourg (Charlottenburg)

At Le Faubourg, the Christmas season begins in November with the popular farm-raised goose – served with Christmas sauce, homemade red and green cabbage, potato dumplings, and breadcrumbs. The goose costs €199 for four people in the restaurant (each additional person: €40) and €235 as a takeaway option (each additional person: €45). For the first time, it will also be delivered directly to your home anywhere in Germany for a shipping fee of €42. Both options are available until December 26. On Christmas Eve, chef Lukas Hackenberg and his team will serve a festive five-course menu with French sophistication and regional flair – including beef fillet tartare with truffle mayonnaise, 63°C Uckerei with caviar, marinated sturgeon, magret de canard, and the “Treize Desserts” dessert buffet. The menu starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs €205 per person, including water, wine pairing, and champagne.

Bonvivant (Schöneberg)

The Michelin-starred cuisine at Bonvivant sparkles even brighter than usual during the Christmas season. Nikodemus Berger and his team have created a menu that combines the most exciting flavors of winter into a festive treat. The starter is an elegant Jerusalem artichoke soup with pickled Perigord truffles and hazelnuts, creating harmony and joy. The main course references classic festive dishes with braised red cabbage in sour cherry hoisin, charcoal foam, and Bohemian dumplings. For dessert, parsnips combine the best of the season with fir, pear, and cardamom. Upon prior arrangement, the Christmas menu can be expanded by up to two courses from the regular menu. The festive menu can be booked for four or more people until 10 p.m. on the evening before the desired reservation for Tuesday to Thursday at 6 p.m. between November 1 and December 23, 2025. The three courses cost €89 per person, excluding drinks. A wine pairing is offered for €42 per person.

Nikodemus Berger

Carl & Sophie (Tiergarten)

On December 7, the popular Jazz Brunch at the Spree restaurant Carl & Sophie will be presented in an Advent edition for €65 per person. While the large windows offer a view of the wintry banks of the Spree, the festive atmosphere inside warms the spirits. DJ Mitch Alive provides the perfect soundtrack. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the buffet offers brunch specialties as well as Christmas highlights.
On Christmas Eve and both Christmas days, the team welcomes guests from 6 p.m. for a splendid 4-course menu featuring seasonal flavors and traditional classics for €79 per person. On December 25 and 26, guests can enjoy a 3-course menu from 12 noon. For €69 per person, festive delicacies will be served: fried herb mushrooms with orange, oats, and curly kale as a starter, braised goose breast with red cabbage, potato semolina dumplings, and cranberry jus as a main course, and gianduja nougat slices with puffed rice and plum ice cream as the crowning finale.

THE KNAST (Lichterfelde)

Christmas on December 25 and 26, 2025, will be a special experience at THE KNAST, a former women’s prison. At 6 p.m. each day, the Christmas edition of the dinner series in the historic cell block invites guests to enjoy a festive 5-course meal – stylish, sparkling, and atmospheric, starting in the illuminated garden.
Chef Michael Zscharschuch combines international Christmas traditions to create a creative menu: hamachi with salted lemon, a leek, ginger, and peanut soup, langoustine with passion fruit, duck breast with red cabbage, kimchi, and kumquat, and a dessert of parsnip, grapefruit, and pavlova. The menu costs €179 per person, including wine or non-alcoholic beverages; a vegetarian alternative is available on request. The dinner is for adults only, and seating is limited to 40. THE KNAST is closed on Christmas Eve. Reservations can be made via OpenTable.

Bistro Mitte at the Grand Hyatt (Potsdamer Platz)

At Bistro Mitte, the familiar brunch concept is expanded to include a Christmas atmosphere and festive specialties on all Advent Sundays. The Grand Advent Brunch features breakfast classics such as bread, sausage, cheese, beef tartare, and à la carte egg dishes, complemented by seasonal buffets with boiled veal, smoked salmon, stuffed wraps, salads, and main courses such as Brandenburg duck, beef fillet cubes, halibut, red and green cabbage, and potato dumplings. Cranberry cheesecake, walnut pralines, gingerbread chocolate mousse, orange jelly, stollen, and Christmas cookies provide sweet highlights. Another highlight is prepared live: cinnamon oat ice cream with cinnamon roll croutons, plum compote, and oat crunch. Water, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks, and crémant for toasting throughout the morning are included. The brunch takes place on Advent Sundays (November 30, December 7, 14, and 21) from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and costs €59, €39 for children under 12.

VOX Restaurant

The Vox Restaurant is celebrating Christmas with a modern interpretation of a festive menu. The five-course menu begins with potatoes, Spreewald gherkins, and truffles, followed by oxtail consommé and roasted pike-perch with celery mousse. The main course is confit goose leg with dumplings, red cabbage, and baked apple espuma; the meal concludes with a Christmas-inspired chocolate ball with apple compote, gingerbread mousse, and mulled wine. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available, including rutabaga cream soup, a vegan cassoulet, and plant-based versions of the main course. The menu costs €199 per person. The restaurant is open on Christmas Eve and both Christmas days from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. (kitchen closes at 10:30 p.m.).

Ganymed Brasserie

The Ganymed Brasserie combines French cuisine with a festive atmosphere right on the Spree—ideal for enjoyable Christmas celebrations in small or large groups. The Christmas menu begins with savory cabbage and sweet potato cream soup with peanut and bacon crumble (€11) or roasted goose liver on lamb’s lettuce (€14.50). For the main course, you can choose from classics such as vegetarian boeuf with wild mushrooms (€29.50), braised wild boar roast (€29.50), braised goose leg (€39), winter cod under a speculoos crust (€39), or two types of Muscovy duck (€36). Desserts include white chocolate cerise au vin rouge (€13.50). A three-course menu costs €49, a four-course menu €59, with a surcharge for selected main courses. With three days’ advance notice, Oldenburg free-range goose, St. Martin’s goose, and fine duck with traditional side dishes also complement the festive season. The restaurant is closed on December 24.

Brechts Steakhouse

BRECHTS Steakhouse offers a wide selection of seasonal delicacies in the run-up to Christmas: St. Martin’s goose with cassis red cabbage, kale, potato dumplings, and goose jus (180 euros), Oldenburg free-range goose stuffed with apples and winter spices (220 euros), or two whole ducks with classic side dishes (125 euros) – each for four people with advance booking. Without advance booking, Chateaubriand (€95) and the steakhouse platter (€89) are available for two people.
There are also seasonal menus with three courses for 49 euros or four courses for 59 euros, including chestnut and wild mushroom soup, zander in a hazelnut crust, duck breast in orange and cocoa glaze, or a vegetarian Veggie Wellington with chestnut filling. For an additional 13 euros, a confit goose leg can also be selected as a main course. The meal is rounded off with a baked apple compote with oat crumble. Advance bookings are required three days in advance. The restaurant is closed on December 24.
