Drive-in cinema opens at the Olympia Stadium – other cinemas will follow in July.
The first drive-in cinema in Berlin for many years will soon be open under the name “Carrona” in car park P05 near Olympia Stadium – as a replacement for the cinemas in the city that were closed due to the Corona crisis.
On June 6th, the festival will start with Bibi & Tina (11 am), The Kangaroo Chronicles (3 pm) and Bad Boys for Life (7 pm). Sonic the Hedgehog, Die Fantastische Reise des Dr. Dolittle and Magic Mike XXL will follow on 7 June. On 8 May the musical Grease from 1978 and the science fiction comedy Back to the Future, whose original cinema release will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2020, will be shown.
There will be screenings every day at 3 and 7 pm and at 11 am on weekends. Admission will cost 25 euros for two spectators in a car, with each additional person in the car paying five euros.
Tickets will be sold online at carrona.de.
