When the sun goes down, it’s time for iftar, the festive dinner that Muslims around the world enjoy after a day of fasting during the fasting month of Ramadan. At JW Steakhouse Berlin, all lovers of oriental cuisine can enjoy a very special culinary experience, as two classic iftar menus bring the flavors and spices of the Orient directly to Berlin-Mitte until March 29, 2025. From hearty mezze with classics such as hummus, deep-fried kibbeh and muhammara to aromatic main courses such as chicken musakhan or lamb machboos and tempting desserts such as baklava or katayef with cheese – each dish is a masterpiece that takes the senses on an unforgettable journey. All dishes are halal. For groups of eight or more who book at least 48 hours in advance, the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin on Stauffenbergstraße offers the perfect opportunity to discover and enjoy the diversity of oriental cuisine in a convivial atmosphere with family and friends. Developed in collaboration with the kitchen crew of the Marriott Marquis Doha, the Iftar menus promise to be a feast for the senses.

Ramadan I menu
Traditional Ramadan juice: Tamer Hindi, Kamareddine, Karkadee, Laban Ayran, fresh lemon and mint
On the table: Dried apricots, majhool dates
Selection of fresh, homemade bread rolls, white and brown Arabic bread, butter
Oriental mezze & salads
Classic hummus with chopped chickpeas and olive oil
Muhammara: Mixture of nuts, breadcrumbs, pomegranate and chili paste with olive oil
Warak Enab: Vine leaves filled with Egyptian rice, tomatoes, peppers, onions and lemon
Fattoush salad: Freshly sliced cucumber, tomatoes, toasted bread, sumac, pomegranate syrup and olive oil
Beet salad: rocket, fresh zaatar, lemon, olive oil, onions
Soup
Lentil soup served with lemon slices, crispy pita bread, parsley, herb oil, dates
Oriental warm mezze
Deep-fried kibbeh: minced meat wrapped in batter, filled with minced meat and nuts
Halloumi cheese with parsley and spring onions
Eggplant fatteh: chickpeas, tahini, yogurt, bread and eggplants
Main courses
Chicken musakhan: onions, sumac, olive oil, bread, almonds, served with yogurt
Shakriyeh Lahmeh: Braised lamb shank in fresh yoghurt sauce
Kebab Khashkash: Chopped lamb kebab with fresh parsley, chili sauce & garlic
Mixed grill platter: Kabab Kofta, Shish Tawouk, Shaqqaf Lahem, lamb chops with garlic cream, served with pilaf rice

Oriental salad: chopped tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, mint, lettuce, parsley, lemon oil
Halloumi fattoush: Toasted Arabic bread salad with cucumber, rocket, tomatoes, olives
Soup
Frekeh soup (D, V): Served with lemon slices, crispy pita bread, parsley, herb oil
Oriental warm mezze
Kibbeh: Beef with spices, lamb fat, sumac, black pepper and onions
Spinach fattayer: puff pastry filled with spinach, seasoned with sumac and onions
Halloumi cheese, parsley, spring rolls, onions, mozzarella cheese

Lamb machboos: basmati rice cooked with lamb and Arabic spices
