This year DUO Sicilian Ice Cream brings a true Sicilian celebration to Berlin: the second edition of the Sicilian Street Food Festival, taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026 at Festsaal Kreuzberg, with entry from 12:00 to 22:00.
Sicilian Street Food Festival
For two days, the festival transforms the venue into a small corner of Italy: more than 20 stalls of Sicilian street food, ranging from cannoli and gelato to traditional savoury dishes such as arancini, caponata, anelletti al forno and much more. You’ll also find artisanal products based on pistachio, citrus fruits and other specialities that tell the story of Sicily in every bite.
However, the Sicilian Street Food Festival is much more than a gastronomic event: it is a true Sicilian festival, where music, culture and energy come together to create an authentic and engaging atmosphere.
On stage, the following will create the atmosphere:
- I Beddi from Acireale, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April, with their vibrant tarantella and the authentic sound of Sicily;
- I Pizzicati, on Saturday 25 April, with Sicilian folk music and traditional rhythms;
- Marenèra, on Sunday 26 April, with a different but complementary mood;
- A DJ set by Marco Meli, to get everyone dancing, big and small.
The choice of dates is not random: the festival takes place on 25 April, Italian Liberation Day, which we want to celebrate through a moment of sharing made of food, music and culture—values that bring people together and create community.
During the two days, the audience will also be able to take part in masterclasses devoted to pistachio, granita, cannoli and other iconic Sicilian preparations (on‑site registration) and discover a programme of entertainment designed for children, turning the festival into a truly family‑friendly event.
