End of August the Pistachio Street Food Festival will return to Berlin for its sixth consecutive year. The event brings together international street food vendors, live cooking demonstrations, and a new dance workshop program centered on the culinary use of pistachios .

Event Details and Logistics
The festival will take place at Jules B-Part in Park am Gleisdreieck (Luckenwalder Str. 6b, 10963 Berlin) on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM each day . Admission is €6, with free entry for children and teenagers under 16. Attendees dressed entirely in green also receive free admission and a complimentary pistachio praline.

Twenty-six vendors will offer pistachio-based dishes at the event . The complete vendor list includes:

The menu features international pistachio applications, ranging from pistachio guacamole, pistachio-stuffed vine leaves, and Peking duck bao with pistachio cream, to desserts like strawberry cups with chocolate and pistachios . The diversity reflects global culinary traditions, including Italian pistachio cream specialties and Chinese pistachio bao variations.
Live Cooking Shows and Dance Workshops
Pastry Chef Francesco Maria Valenti will conduct live cooking demonstrations across both days, including interactive chocolate truffle sessions at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM, a triple chocolate dessert workshop at 3:30 PM, and chocolate salami preparation at 5:30 PM . Elena Zhuravleva will lead children’s gingerbread decorating workshops at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM for €3 . A children’s entertainment program runs from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM .

Market Context: The Growing Pistachio Industry
The festival occurs against a backdrop of significant pistachio market growth. German retail sales of pistachio products increased from approximately €170 million in 2021 to €374 million in 2025, a 120 percent increase over four years . Over 50 percent of German households have purchased a pistachio product . Germany remains the largest European importer of pistachios, ranking second globally among the top 10 markets . US shipments to Germany reached 92.6 million pounds in the 2025/26 season, a 7.3 percent year-on-year increase .
Italy produces approximately 4,000 tons of pistachios annually, primarily in the Bronte and Raffadali regions, yet domestic production covers only 10-15 percent of national demand . The organic pistachio cultivation area in Italy grew by over 30 percent annually between 2020 and 2024.
