New long-haul route from BER
flynas flies non-stop to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi low-cost airline flynas is now connecting BER with Jeddah. This means that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can now be reached directly from the capital region for the first time. The new route will be offered three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays – and connects the capital with the lively coastal city on the Red Sea.
Flaynas does not have a real Business Class. Their premium class is similar to inner European Business Class with the middle seat free.
Flight times
The planes to Jeddah take off from BER at 09:35 and land in Saudi Arabia at 16:45. Departure time in the opposite direction is at 03:55 with arrival at BER at 08:45. The flight takes a good six hours. An Airbus A320neo aircraft will be used on the route.
Aletta von Massenbach, CEO Airport Berlin Brandenburg GmbH:
“We are delighted to welcome flynas to BER. The new long-haul route to Jeddah strengthens the connectivity of BER. Jeddah is an important commercial center on the Red Sea and an attractive tourist destination. The new non-stop connection will enable travelers from the capital region to discover exciting destinations in Saudi Arabia more quickly and easily. At the same time, the capital region is an important destination for travelers from Saudi Arabia.”
