Eurowings is set to expand its presence at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in the 2026 summer schedule. The Lufthansa subsidiary is adding three attractive European capital routes to London, Lisbon and Sarajevo, and will launch three new holiday destinations: Olbia, Naples and Kavala.

For Sarajevo and Kavala, these will be the first-ever nonstop services from BER. In addition, Eurowings is increasing frequencies to popular leisure and city destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Stockholm, Zurich, Split, Bilbao, Faro, Helsinki, Gothenburg and Larnaca. With a total of 43 destinations in 20 countries, the Eurowings summer schedule 2026 offers more choice and seat capacity from BER than ever before.
The carrier is also growing its based fleet at BER. With two additional aircraft, Eurowings will expand its base to a total of nine aircraft. This creates the capacity needed for the enlarged route network and higher flight frequencies in the coming season.
Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, commented: “We are delighted about the significant expansion of Eurowings’ offering at BER. With two additional based aircraft, Eurowings underlines its clear commitment to the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region. This step reinforces the attractiveness of the location and our close strategic partnership with the airline.”
Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, added: “The measures adopted by the German federal government help us to stabilise and in part expand our offering for flights to European destinations. This is particularly evident in Berlin. With our new connections to London, Lisbon and Sarajevo as well as other attractive destinations, we are strengthening our presence in the capital. We are consciously investing in the BER location because we see the region’s potential and want to offer people in Berlin and Brandenburg an even more diverse European network.”
