Spain is the most popular holiday destination. Christmas time is travel time: During the upcoming holidays from December 20th to January 5th, the Berlin airport company is expecting a good 1.05 million passengers.
A total of six new destinations and routes
The 2024/2025 winter flight schedule comes into force on Sunday, October 27. Several airlines at BER have increased their long-haul services, particularly to the Middle East, and further expanded connections to city destinations, the far north and popular vacation regions.
Amman back in the flight schedule from BER
Since July 1, 2024, Berlin Brandenburg Airport has been offering its passengers at BER an additional digital service: With BER Biometrics, it is now possible for all travelers to use various stations in Terminal 1 on departure via facial recognition and thus contactless without showing their boarding pass.
Ryanair is significantly expanding its range of flights from BER Airport. The Irish airline will be flying to six new destinations this summer: Castellón, Kaunas, Birmingham, Trieste, Dubrovnik and Reggio Calabria.
