DAN AIR launches connection from BER to Bucharest Stopover connection to Syria

With DAN AIR to Syria
The Romanian airline DAN AIR is now connecting BER to Bucharest. Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, the airline flies from the capital region to the Romanian capital, which is increasingly becoming an insider tip among European city destinations. Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats will be used on the route from BER to Bucharest.
From Bucharest, DAN AIR offers the option of continuing flights to Damascus, Syria. The Romanian airline is currently the only European-based airline to offer flights to Syria.
DAN AIR is a Romanian airline based in Bucharest and was founded in 2017. The company started as an ACMI provider for international airlines. Today, DAN AIR operates scheduled flights from Bucharest and Bacău, as well as charter and ACMI connections. DAN AIR serves 16 destinations, including cities in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, and—since June 2025—Damascus. DAN AIR has been a member of IATA since 2024 and is listed in the IOSA safety database. The fleet includes several Airbus A320s and A319s.
