SKY express Launches New Direct Service from Berlin (BER) to Athens

Starting October 2025, SKY express has introduced a new non-stop connection between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and Athens International Airport (ATH). Berlin travelers can now reach Athens four times per week—on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays—with schedules tailored for both leisure and business travelers. All flights are operated by modern, fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Flight Schedule:

  • BER → ATH: Departure 14:40, Arrival 18:25
  • ATH → BER: Departure 11:45, Arrival 13:40
  • Flight time: 2 hours 45 minutes (Athens is one hour ahead of Berlin)

This new route opens up seamless access not only to Athens, but also to the largest domestic airline network in Greece: Through Athens, SKY express connects to 33 Greek destinations, including nearly all popular islands and mainland airports. The schedule is designed for holidaymakers seeking Mediterranean sunshine and for business travelers requiring flexible year-round access.

Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, commented:
With SKY express, we welcome a new airline to BER and are pleased to offer an expanded and robust service to Athens. This connection creates new options for both business and leisure travel, with extensive onward flight possibilities within Greece available year-round.”

Gerasimos Skaltsas, Chief Commercial Officer of SKY express, added:
We are delighted to add Berlin to our route network. This is an important step in SKY express’s European growth and reaffirms our commitment to strengthening Greece’s connectivity and its position as a leading destination for the German market. Travelers from Berlin can enjoy flight service year-round—with Greece’s youngest fleet—and a choice of 33 domestic destinations across our network. This is the largest in the country.”
