If you fancy fine dining without a long menu, the Kreuzberg restaurant Tante Fichte will be in particularly good hands in the coming weeks. In addition to the large menu and the “Bubbles & Burger” special on the sidewalk, a summery seafood menu in three stages is now available to share.

Under the motto “Istrian Summer”, Chef Dominik Matokanovic presents a selection of different starters from Wednesday to Saturday, including hobotnica (squid) and scampi salata, brancin na bjielo (sea bass), oysters, incuni (anchovies), home-baked bread with dip and more. For the main course, guests can look forward to market-fresh fish à la dugi with krumpir na leso (mashed potatoes with chard) and parsley salad. The dessert consists of so-called fritule – baked, sweet dough balls. The menu costs 60 euros per person. Reservations are recommended.

If you like, you can extend your menu with additional courses: the special menu currently includes lobster pasta, half a lobster with skuta cheese and caviar from Imperial Kaviar. In the usual Tante Fichte style, owner Michael Köhle and host Viktoria Kniely serve wines and sparkling wines by the glass, refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks – but guests can of course also order from the wine list, which includes around 650 items.

The Tante Fichte restaurant is located at Fichtestraße 31 in 10967 Berlin Kreuzberg and is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 6 pm.
