Restaurant Tim Raue – Berlins best restaurant
Although the restaurant Tim Raue, which has been awarded two Michelin stars and 19.5 Gault&Millau points, did not yet have an outdoor area, the two restaurateurs Marie-Anne Wild and Tim Raue are now also planning to reopen: with a terrace concept that will start on May 26, 2021.
At a total of up to 12 tables for up to five people in some cases, Wild and Raue will then spoil their guests in the inner courtyard of the office and commercial building at Rudi-Dutschke-Strasse 26. Round outdoor carpets and colorful outdoor seating in bright yellow, summery red, bright green and sky-colored blue immediately put people in a good mood and are intended to show: Here, joie de vivre and delight come first. For days when the sun doesn’t want to shine quite as strongly, special heat lamps have been ordered and a tent has also been erected to protect guests from at least minor showers from above. A special lighting concept and floral decorations developed with long-time partner Marsano flowers round out the concept. The terrace will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays for dinner – reservations will be accepted from 5:30 to 7 p.m.. On Saturdays, the terrace will also be open for lunch. Reservations are accepted beginning at 12 noon. A menu in eight courses is offered at a price of 238 euros per person. Who likes, can shorten this also on six courses and pays then 208 euro per person. A reservation is urgently necessary. Reservations take the restaurant exclusively on-line under www.tim-raue.com. There also the current menu is to be found. A condition for a successful reservation is a negative test result current on the day, the inoculation proof or the confirmation of an overcome Covid infection. Those who like can also purchase an antigen self-test on site at cost price of 5.60 euros each and perform this as a rapid test. For contact tracking, check-in will be handled via the Luca app. The terrace will remain closed during storms and thunderstorms. The successful FUH KIN GREAT delivery concept will continue to be offered, but will be reduced to three days in the future. From June onwards, delivery will then always take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays within Germany or Austria. Villa Kellermann
Potsdam can now also breathe a sigh of relief again and look forward to pleasurable moments in the countryside. Because on May 28, 2021, Villa Kellermann will also reopen and welcome its guests on the large and redesigned terrace with a direct view of the Heiligen See (Holy Lake!). Depending on the weather, the opening hours will be defined one week in advance and communicated on the website as well as on its own social media channels. Aufwind
And yet another beautiful outdoor area will shine in new splendor starting next week: because Wenzel Büchold and his team are also getting ready for the long-awaited reopening in Charlottenburg and are creating a specially made terrace construction in Windscheidstraße: on a slightly raised platform, under a large awning and on comfortable designer chairs from the Italian brand Emu, you can finally indulge in aromatic delights here again while watching the relaxed hustle and bustle of City West. The special terrace menu features three- and four-course menus prepared either purely vegetarian or with fish. Guests can look forward to “Aufwind classics” such as tuna gyros or homemade udon noodles with salmon, as well as new dishes like salmon tartare with wild herbs or pistachio crème brûlée. And even those who don’t fancy an extensive menu will get their money’s worth thanks to tasty snacks such as fish & chips or delicious gambas and a new wine list. The Aufwind is always open Tuesdays to Saturdays between 4 and 10 pm. The opening of the terrace is on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Kreuzberger Himmel
It has long been known that Kreuzberger Himmel is much more than a restaurant serving wonderful Syrian cuisine. It is a social project, which since its opening in 2018 not only makes functioning integration tangible, but also demonstrates a lot of social commitment. During the closing times, the team engaged in cooperation with the cold aid and the Berlin Senate for the care of homeless people in the city. Starting today, Friday, May 21, 202, the team will offer the dishes it has prepared about 90,000 times for people in need. True to the motto “guest is guest.” What awaits guests? As an appetizer, they can choose between the oriental potato salad and the sandwich with grilled vegetables. For the main course, they can choose from sausage goulash, vegetable curry and a lentil stew.
Jolesch
If you’ve visited Restaurant Jolesch in warm weather in any of the past few years, you’ll know that the outdoor area doesn’t have to hide at all behind the so-celebrated interior: Next to climbing wine and under shady awnings, you can enjoy the tranquility and leave everyday life behind, despite the central Kreuzberg location. Whether for lunch or to enjoy the end of the day in the beautiful evening sun: the Jolesch convinces again with its Austrian classics such as the notorious Wiener Schnitzel or the popular Kaiserschmarren, fresh salads and seasonal dishes. In order to be able to guarantee better that the temperatures permit also a relaxed enjoying and staying, the Jolesch opens only its terrace, if also Petrus gives the starting signal for the external season. The specific date for the terrace opening will then be communicated via social media. Antigen self-testing will then also be available to guests at Jolesch. In addition, it is important that the entire team is fully vaccinated until the opening.
Brasserie Colette Tim Raue
Fans of Brasserie Colette Tim Raue will have to be patient a little longer until they can taste the French creations à la Tim Raue again on site in Passauer Straße. To make the wait a little easier, a special spring Colette box has been put together that has it all:
