Good friends of us like the Sushi Place next door. We are less convinced of their Sushi. So we tested the Food Club. Very weird concept. Two chefs made a restaurant with two menus. One has a Sushi style menu and the other something like best of European kitchens.
When you see a photo like this, you really get hungry for a hamburger with fries. We ordered the Kreuzburger with bacon.
So we were looking forward to it: Sascha Lissowsky, the former head chef of Bühners La Vie*** in Osnabrück, has gone into business for himself with a brasserie serving French home cooking near Stuttgarter Platz on a pretty lousy corner – unless you need a new syringe for your drugs.
Pizza is something everybody likes to eat. Like Sushi, it can be tasty, but has nothing in common with the original product. We visited Francuccis at Kudamm. Fraco Francucci was the first who offered Pizza in Berlin. I think, he started in 1962. I am customer since the early 70ties. After school we went there and ate a piece of squared pizza for 1 DM.
Normally I behave in restaurants. In Cooking Papa I yelled at the elderly service lady.
Since a week the restaurants are allowed to reopen again. We visited the EAST at Savignyplatz and ate Pizza in Da Torino in Bleibtreustrasse Ecke Lietzenburger
The Senate has decided on further relaxation during a meeting. Starting May 15th, a complete reopening of the gastronomy is planned – but under strict hygiene and distance rules, reports the daily “Tagesspiegel”.
We were hungry for Austrian kitchen
We used the perfect weather, sunny and 16°C, for the allowed walk with a family member living in the same household. After shopping at DM drugstore -we even got soap – we went to Christophers.
