Due to the Covid19 crisis Berlin Senate closed all Restaurants and Coffeeshops. Some restaurants might offer pick ups. This is allowed. Delivery is also allowed. Most restaurants will close. Until further notice. Now we test pick up and delivery!

Covid19 forces us to eat from delivery service – Pizzeria Vadoli, Kantstrasse
I am not a friend of delivery services. The food is often no more warm and in my experience rarely tasty. I always order a Margherita or Napoli from unknown service to minimize the risk. My family is more brave.

Udagawa Japan Imbiss, Kantstrasse
Last time I was here with my friend Yasu from Japan in the mid 80ties. He was so happy. Udagawa had the taste of home cooking in Japan. I personally was not so deep impressed. For me the food was okay.

Döner Kebab Berlin style
Döner is an old Turkish speciality, minced meat grilled on a BBQ, thin sliced and served with salad. In Berlin it was modified and packed in a pide bread and added with tasty sauces.

Deli House, Nürnberger Strasse
If you are in Szechuan Food, you will like Deli House. It does not look like a Chinese Restaurant. Every kitchen style could be in the place tomorrow without changing anything.

Ovest Italian touch, Schlüterstrasse
After we had excellent Pizza in the Ovest branch in KaDeWe we wanted to eat now in their Ristorante some Pizze. But Ristorante is not Pizzeria! No Pizza in Schlüterstrasse 47.

Vox Restaurant, Hyatt Hotel, Potsdamer Platz
I know the Vox since long time. Before I left Berlin, Exec. Chef Eder had always fantastic quality lunch offers, which I liked there. Eder is retired.
Friends recommended us the place for Sushi. They were very please with Master Naoto. So we went.
In this restaurant Alex Moser started his career.

Aroma, Kantstrasse
This cantonese Restaurant is one of our favorites. They are a real Chinese restaurant. Always a bit rude, but they mean it friendly. Fits well to Berlin. As cantonese they have a good selection of Dim Sum, but also good cantonese dishes. This restaurant could be also in Manhattans China Town.

Cafe Einstein “Unter den Linden”
Cafe Einstein is a very old coffeeshop and restaurant chain in Berlin. Their “Stammhaus” is in Kurfürstenstrasse (don’t confuse with Kurfürstendamm!). They are Austrians and offer Austrian Specialities in a high quality at an acceptable price. Coffee is in any branch good. “Unter den Linden” is the main touristic road that leads from Brandenburger Gate to the Museum Island and passes most historical places.
